Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, is a Nigerian singer and the creator of a record company. He has finally responded to rumors that he was romantically involved with Queen Dami, the late Alaafin of Oyo’s wife.
During a conversation on the Honest Bunch Podcast with On Air Personality, Nedu Wazobia, the contentious singer confessed his love relationship with the young woman.
This comes after screenshots of Portable and Dami’s discussions, in which they both used affectionate expressions like “my king” and “queen,” along with “love” emojis, were posted online.
Speaking of his relationship with Queen, the Zazuu star noted that if the King were still alive he would not have made any move towards her, because “after king na king.”
In response to a question on whether the rumours are true, Portable said: “Queen Dami has been my fan from day one.
“When I now heard of the king’s death, after king na king. You wouldn’t have seen me with her if the king was still alive. I no dey follow person wife.”
