Former indomitable lions captain Rigobert Song Bahanag believes Samuel Eto’o’s appointment will mark the beginning of a new Era in Cameroon Football

Samuel Eto’o won the elections for president of Cameroon Football federation after defeating former president Seidou Mbombo Njoya by 43votes to 31 votes.

Rigobert Song went to his Twitter page expressing his excitement

“A new day is rising on Cameroonian football. A new era full of hope and beautiful promises. Congratulations Mr. President@SamuelEtoo on your election. May God accompany you in the vast construction site that awaits you” wrote the two time African nations cup winner
