Andre Onana will not only have his eyes set on the UEFA Champions League title on June 10, but also on the all time record for most Champions League clean sheets in a single season.
The record is jointly held by three players; Santiago Canizares for Valencia in the 2000-01 competition, Keylor Navas for Real Madrid in 2015-16 and Eduardo Mendy for Chelsea in the 2020-21 Season.
Andre Onana currently has eight clean sheets and will need to keep another one against Manchester City in the finals in Istanbul next month in order to equal the record.
His 44 saves also makes him the goalkeeper with most saves in the tournament this season.
Inter Milan reached the finals of the UCL after defeating AC Milan 3-0 on aggregate. Manchester City run riot against Real Madrid dismantling them 5-1 on aggregate to book their Finals ticket.
Onana will also be looking to become the first Cameroonian Goalkeeper to win a European Cup Finals.
