“Andre Onana plays Tennis? Clear Racism” Football Fans react as Andre Onana fails to make the UCL Team Of The Season

Andre Onana has failed to make the 2022/2023 UEFA Champions League Team Of The Season as selected by UEFA Technical Observer Panel.

His omission has come as a shock to many football fans, given his performance in the Champions League this Season. He is replaced in the Line up by Thibaut Courtois, who exited the competition in the Semi finals with Real Madrid.

It’s worth noting that Andre Onana has the most Clean sheets (8), Most saves(47) and Most Goals Prevented(7.1) in the Champions League this Season.

Football fans on Twitter couldn’t understand the reason for his omission, with many linking it to racism.

For Goal keeper I chose Onana cos he has most saves 48 and most clean sheets 8 in the competition. stones and Bernardo Silva is also a cheat for me. For Stones Joao Mario of Benfica while Salah for Silva for me because of their stats in the competition and not cos of the final.
