Biography of Slimsingah, born Egbe Konrad Egbe ( born 25th October 1994 ), known professionally as Slimsingah is a Cameroonian Afrobeats, pop and Dancehall singer and songwriter. He is from the South West Region of Cameroon precisely Manyu division. Slimsingah was influenced while growing up by artistes like West Life, Bebe Manga, Mr Leo, Wizkid etc, He signed with Cameroon base record label MOB Inc and released his debut EP “Life Of Slim ( LOS)” in 2022. He released his first single titled “Free” featuring Drizz in 2022.

Early Life.

Slimsingah was born and raised in the South West Region of Cameroon. He attended secondary school at PHS Bissongabang & PHS Kumba and later went to the famous University of Buea (UB) where he graduated with a BSc in Economics.

Growing up, Slimsingah was a music addict, he listened most to the likes of Bebe Manga, WestLife, Wizkid, Mr Leo, Tzy Panchak and in 2021 he started music professionally.

“Music was the only thing that kept me going when thought had lost everything by losing my parents. So with that, came to find out the isn’t anything I can do without the music though it has always been a part of since birth” – Slimsingah

Career

Slimsingah started music professionally in the 2021 but released his first official song “free” on February 25, 2022 featuring Drizz ( https://youtu.be/z8qwo7hsnnE ) and after this, he released a solo single titled “Bless” where he reflected on his journey so far and how God has blessed him.

Slimsingah gained more exposure after releasing his debut EP “Life of Slim (LOS)” on September 30th 2022 with amazing Collaborations with artiste like Dready Christ, Diaspora, Deajae Glenny & Drizz. “Bless” from the EP enter top 5 on popular Boomplay playlist ( Top 30 hits Cameroon ).
