Cameroon defeated Malawi two goals to nil in their first 2022 FIFA World cup qualifiers match
Cameroon now go top of the group after Ivory coast played a goalless draw with Mozambique.
Captain Vincent Aboubakar put the Lions Infronta just after nine minutes after controlling a pass from Malong with his chest inside the box before slotting it pass the keeper. Michael Ngadeu doubled the lead just 12 minutes later when he headed in a Ngamaleu corner.
Up next Cameroon face Ivory coast in Abijan in match day 2 of the qualifiers. A Match that will go a long way in deciding who finishes as group winners.
