Cameroon’s indomitable lions move a place up in the latest FIFA men’s ranking

The FIFA world rankings were updated on the 12th of August after a summer with a lot of international action.

Cameroon moved one place up in the rankings from 55th to 54th position with with 1411pts.
In Africa, they maintained their 8th position.
Senegal(21st Globally) remains at the top in Africa, Tunisia(28th Globally) occupying the second position.
Algeria despite their long unbeaten run were only good enough for the third position, with Morocco, Nigeria Egypt and Ghana occupying the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th position, with Ivory coast and Mali completing the top ten in the continent.
Belgium maintain their position at the top of the Global rankings despite their early Euro 2020 exit.
Brazil moved a place up after reaching the Copa America finals, France dropping to third, England maintaining their fourth position after reaching the EURO 2020 finals.
Italy moved a place up to 5th after their EURO2020 triumph, Argentina occupies the sixth position after their Copa America triumph, Spain, Portugal, Mexico and USA complete the 7th,8th, 9th and 10th position.
