France has now reached the Semi finals of the FIFA World Cup in two consecutive editions.
Tchouameni opened the scoring for France in the first half. He received a pass from Griezmann outside the box and fired a beautiful show to the bottom left corner beyond the reach of Jordan Pickford.
England got their equalizer just seven minutes into the second half from the spot. Tchouameni bundled Saka inside the box and the referee pointed to the spot immediately. Harry Kane made no mistake from the spot as he sent Hugo Lloris the wrong way.
Giroud put Les Bleus back in front in the 75th minute. Griezmann whipped in a cross from the left side of the pitch and Giroud rose highest to head it in pass Jordan Pickford, scoring his fourth goal of the tournament.
Harry Kane got the chance to equalize from the spot after Theo Hernandez pushed Mason Mount in the box but the Spurs man had his penalty sail high over the bar.
France will be wary of their next round opponents Morocco who have conceded only one goal since the World Cup started which happened to be an own goal.
Morocco also became the first African side to reach the FIFA World Cup semi finals.
The other Semi finals clash is 2014 runners up Argentina vs 2018 runners up Croatia.
