France are through to Finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup after defeating Morocco 2-0.
Morocco made history as they became the first African side to reach the Semi finals of a FIFA World Cup. France has now made back to back FIFA World Cup finals and will be looking to becomes the first nation to win it twice in a row in more than 60 years.
France has defeated Morocco 2-0 to qualify for the finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
It took France only five minutes to open the scoring. Griezmann received the ball from outside box, dribbled his way into the box before placing a pass to Kylian Mbappe. Mbappe had his shot blocked twice before the third attempt deflected off Giroud and fell to unmarked Theo Hernandez who struck a shot pass Yasine Bonou.
France doubled the lead in the 79th minute. Mbappe received the pass from Griezmann and dribbled his way into the box and had his shot deflected which fell to the path of Mouani who tuck it in into an empty net.
France will now face Argentina in the finals on Sunday. The two teams lastly met in the 2018 World Cup semi finals and France were 4-3 winners.
