Three clubs are currently in the race to sign Karl Toko Ekambi with Premier league side Southampton, Stade Rennes and Saudi Arabian side Al Shabad all showing interest in the 29 year old.
RMC Sports also reports that Lyon are willing to sell the out of form forward for as low as €4million.
Southampton who sit bottom of the Premier league table with 15 points in 19 games are looking to reinforce their squad in their battle to avoid relation. They have already made two signings this winter with Mislav Orsic and Carlos Alcaraz all joining Nathan Jones’ side this January.
Toko Ekambi has fallen out with Olympique Lyonnaise fans due to his poor run of form. The fans unveiled banners with Toko Ekambi’s face on it and a “get out of here” message written on it.
Stade Rennes are also looking at a possibility of taking the player on a six months loan.
Toko Ekambi has featured 114 times for Lyon scoring 38 goals and recording 19 assists.
