Biography of Cameroonian artist Kelly Shimeya who was born in Leeds (Britain) in the year 2001.

Kelly Shimeya is a young female singer/songwriter and guitarist from Liverpool. Many empowering female artists have inspired her through her nine years of singing including Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston. Singing live and conveying her own original music to audiences is what she enjoys the most.

She has had many experiences such as recently singing at Cream Classical, singing on the BBC ‘Anthony’ tv drama, singing ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ on the official 2019 Liverpool Football Club Christmas advert, performing at countless Liverpool venues as well as participating in corporate gigs, weddings, charity events and flash mobs.

Kelly has released her own song on all music platforms and has released several performances of original songs and cover material, which has received a large amount of positive feedback. She is currently working on creating further new original tracks.

Kelly focussed greatly on her music when at school and achieved Grade 8 distinction in Popular Vocals and then succeeded in achieving her diploma in the discipline.
