Libianca Wins Big at the BET Awards 2023 after beating Asake, Camidoh and others to win Best New International Act

On Sunday night, the BET Awards celebrated the best in Black entertainment and culture, and one of the biggest winners of the night was rising star Libianca.

The 23-year-old singer-songwriter took home the award for Best New Artist, beating out stiff competition from the likes of Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, and Roddy Ricch. In her acceptance speech, Libianca thanked her fans and supporters for their unwavering support and credited her success to her hard work and determination.

I just want to say thank you so much to everyone who has supported me on this journey,” Libianca said. “It’s been a long road, but I wouldn’t be here without all of you. And to all the other nominees, I am so honored to be in your company. You all inspire me so much.”

Libianca’s win at the BET Awards is a testament to her talent and hard work, and it is clear that she has a bright future ahead of her. With her unique sound and powerful voice, she is sure to continue making waves in the music industry for years to come.

Announcing her win on Facebook, Libianca wrote

“I forgot the last part of my speech and I’ll never forget again because I still have to make it up but I want to take a moment to thank the one person who makes living on earth a breeze. I’m not gonna type a whole paragraph for people to be reading in our business but I have to give you your flowers like this and you know why. Engineer, stylist, manager, artist, producer, my husband, my person , my annoyance lol. Nothing is enjoyable without you and I wanna say j’suis desole and I appreciate you for loving me as I am and quite frankly dealing with my ass. I love you papi.”
