Oladokun Abimbola Elijah, better known as Bayanni, a rising Nigerian singer, has revealed that a prophet once predicted to his mother that he would become a musician.

The singer of “Ta Ta Ta” claimed that was the reason his family did not discourage him from pursuing a career in music. He said the godly man who made the prophecy to his mum when he was a boy, encouraged her to help him when he at last shows interest.

Bayanni recounted the childhood memory while being interviewed by reality star, KimOprah on a recent episode of Hip TV’s ‘Trending’ programme.

The Mavin signee also claimed that he saw his boss, Don Jazzy four times in his vision before he got the record deal. According to the 26-year-old, he saw himself working with Don Jazzy in the studio and the vision eventually came true after he got signed by Mavin.

Bayanni said; “When I told my parents that I was going to do music fully, they didn’t object. They just said, ‘okay’. That was when my mum told me about something that happened when I was little.

“She said a prophet told her that there would be a time when I would tell her that I want to do music and she should support me. So, when I told her , she let me. She already knew that time would come.”
