Burna Boy, a leading figure in the Afrobeats genre, has claimed to be the genre’s “Jesus” while paying homage to two of its legends.
Burna Boy declared Wizkid to be the greatest artist of all time in a recent video, referring to him as the “God of Afrobeats.”
According to the ‘Big 7’ crooner, Davido is the ‘Joseph of Aftobeats’.
“Some people talk anyhow, they forget to say Wizkid is the greatest of all time and he is the God of Afrobeats.
“I’m the Jesus of Afobeats, Davido is the Joseph of Afobeats”, Burna stated in the social media post.
Burna Boy recently announced the release date for his seventh studio album, ‘I Told Them’, with his latest track ‘Big 7’ enjoying massive airplay around the globe.
