Recently, the biggest name in African music, David Adeleke – popularly known as Davido – gave an interview and revealed his secret to becoming the most followed artist in Africa.
Known for his jovial and outgoing personality, Davido shared that his likeability, sociable nature, and funny character all play a key role in accumulating the majority of followers compared to other African artistes like Burna Boy and WizKid.
In the interview, Davido stated he always found himself to be a social person who loves interacting with people and this helped to increase the number of followers. His humorous name and reputation as a funny person were also assets that were utilised while on social media, attracting people to him.
Davido also claimed to invest a lot of quality time on social media, and even opened an Instagram page for his wife, Chioma Avril Rowland; demonstrating his tech savvy.
