An old video of Teni in similar circumstances has resurfaced, similar to how Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy reportedly chased after Davido’s car before becoming famous.
In the 2021 video, Teniola Apata, better known as Teni Entertainer, got out of her car and crossed the highway while yelling Davido‘s name to get his attention.
Fortunately, Davido knew Teni while on board heard her call for himself and halted his vehicle. Teni was seen breathing heavily, revealing that she had been far away chasing after his car and then requesting a collaboration for her upcoming album.
Davido, who had earlier asked her what she wanted, gladly gave it to her.
Teni’s career skyrocketed after she landed the desired collaboration with Davido which also aided her in gaining substantial notoriety in the music business.
Funny reactions have however trailed the throwback moment with many linking it to Burna Boy who according to Davido’s cousin, B-Red, chased after their car in Port Harcourt the first time they met.
