The South African Focalistic get dragged by the social media users in Nigerian as they gave credit to the global recognition of the Amapiano genre to Davido
Amapiano is unquestionably a South African genre, but musicians like Focalisitc, Uncle Waffles, DJ Maphorisa, and Kabza De Small have been actively promoting sound all over the world.
However, Twitter erupted with controversy when it was suggested that the global spread of the genre was catalyzed by Davido’s involvement in the remix of the hit track “Ke Star.”
“Davido is the one who made Amapiano go worldwide after the Remix with Focalistic Ke Star South Africa need to be grateful to him because he made Amapiano go international,” a Nigerian tweep wrote.
