Charles Chibuezechukwu, popularly known by his stage name Crayon, has stated that Rema, another artist on the Mavin Records roster, put up with him for two years before Crayon became well-known.

He claimed Rema was essential to his professional success.

This was revealed by the singer of “Ijo Labalaba” during a recent interview with MTV Base Africa.

He said: “Shoutout to Rema mehn. That’s my brother for life. Rema was a big support, as well. He was very instrumental . You know what’s crazy? I stayed in his house for two years.”

Crayon hit the spotlight in May 2019 after he was signed to Blowtime Entertainment, an imprint of Mavin Records.
