Nigerian singer Iyanya has voiced his displeasure with internet users who expect respect for their own paths while consistently disrespecting the careers of artists.

In a progression of tweets, he thought back about his accomplishments since winning the MTN Venture Notoriety contest in 2008.

Iyanya emphasized that, despite his initial doubts, he went on to release popular songs like “Kukere” and “Your Waist.”

He talked about a lot of other successful songs he’s written over the years, including ones with Flavour, Davido, and Kizz Daniel.

The singer acknowledged that he faced a period of being out of the limelight but emphasized that he is now back with a new focus.

He proudly announced the release of his second EP within a span of 14 months, showcasing his commitment to creating new music.

“Yes after sometime I was out, now I’m back, the foundation for a new iyanya has been laid and the house is currently being built and I promise you, we will roof part of it soon.( music)

“Love you All, Remain Blessed,” he tweeted.
