With his most recent accomplishment, Ghanaian rapper Stonebwoy debuted on the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs Chart.

‘Life & Money,’ a song by Stormzy, debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 47.

For Stonebwoy’s 5TH Dimension album in 2023, the song serves as the album’s lead single.

Notably, the musician recently debuted a remix of ‘Life & Money’ that he had created with US rapper Russ.

A few months earlier than this milestone, Stonebwoy’s 17-track album “5Th Dimension” was released. It debuted at number eight on the Billboard World Reggae Album chart. The album’s release was not long before this achievement was made.

This is the first Ghanaian album to score this success on the reggae charts. According to Billboard, the album was ranked “based on multi-metric consumption blending traditional album sales, track equivalent albums, and streaming (audio and video) equivalent albums.”

This is not the first time Stonebwoy’s project has been on the Billboard Chart.

His critically acclaimed album ‘Epistles Of Mama (EOM)‘ debuted on the Billboard World Album Chart in 2017, while his single ‘Nominate‘ debuted on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart in 2020.

Meanwhile, ‘Life & Money‘ with Stormzy reached No. 14 on the Official UK Afrobeats Chart in May 2023.
