Nigerian music star Davido has trolled Manchester United fans after the club’s poor performance against Copenhagen in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night, November 8.

The Red Devils blew away a two-goal lead and eventually lost 4-2 to the hard-fighting Danish club.

Rasmus Hojlund had opened the scoring in the 3rd minute and doubled United’s lead in the 28th to help his side settle in the game.

However, there was drama in the 42nd minute when Marcus Rashford was shown straight red following a dangerous tackle, allowing the home side to capitalise immediately.

Lukas Lerager gave Copenhagen the lead in the 83rd minute before Roony Bardghji made it 4-2 four minutes later.

The result leaves Erik ten Hag’s side bottom of their group with just three points from four matches, Evening Standard reports.

United fans have continued to lament the embarrassment, and Nigerian singer Davido seemed to have added salt to their injuries.

He wrote on his X handle, saying United fans practically complain week-in, week-out:

“I don’t watch ball like that … but come Wetin Man U do so?? Every week una dey complain enlighten me pls.”

Manchester United fans react
Sports Brief earlier reported that Manchester United fans have come out to claim the “system is against us” after their side dramatically lost to FC Copenhagen in the Champions League.

“United’s recent game showed that United are fighting against the system because I still cannot understand why VAR decisions are always different when they relate to United.”
