During an interview with media personality Adesope Olajide, Nigerian musician Ruger shared the inspiration behind his hit single ‘Asiwaju’.
The musician revealed that his frustration with everything and everyone around him was the driving force behind the creation of the song.
Ruger mentioned that his emotions are what fuel him to work, and he goes into the studio to record what he feels at the moment.
“Everything you know. Everybody pissed me off. I just wanted to let them know. I work based on anger.
“I work with my anger. I go into the studio, record what I feel at the moment,” he said.
