Davido‘s ‘Timeless‘ concert took an unexpected turn on Sunday night when a fan launched an attack on the singer while he was performing on stage.
The event which took place at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos was packed to capacity with fans whose excitement was palpable in the frenzied atmosphere.
Everything seemed to be going well until when Davido begins performing his hit song ‘FIA’.
As music enthusiasts sing along to the lyrics, Davido soaks in the moment while observing the environment; his gaze seems fixed on a particular spot and it isn’t long before the reason is revealed.
Davido Responds To Sick Fan Who Wants To Attend His Show
A young man who has mounted the stage rushes at the award-winning singer, obviously with evil intent.
Davido, who doesn’t show any sign of fear, dashes forward to defend himself and just before the two men clash, security officials intervene and bundle the fan away.
It was undoubtedly a tense moment and the swift action of the security definitely deserves commendation.

Meanwhile, Davido’s Uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, graced the event, showing support for his nephew in what comes as no surprise given his affinity for music.
