Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile has said that Davido’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke’s tragic death in October of 2022 could break anyone.
Speaking on the Afrobeats podcast, Zlatan expressed his happiness at the support and sympathy shown to Davido after the demise of Ifeanyi.
Zlatan also revealed that he has tried to visit Davido a few times since the incident, and found him at the gym.
He also praised Davido, calling him a blessing to Nigeria, Africa and the Afrobeats music genre.
“He is a blessing to a lot and to the country as a whole, to Africa and to Afrobeats.
“What happened to him was something that can actually break anyone. I’m happy at the love Nigerians and everyone have shown towards him, the sympathy.
“I tried to see him; I think I’ve been able to see him a few times. I go check up on him and most time, he is at the gym, he is cooking up something,” Zlatan said.
