Cameroon has defeated Belgium 2-0 in their opening match of the 2023 Military Women’s World Cup.

 

A goal from Brenda Tabe and an Own Goal ensured the 2022 Vice Champions came out 2-0 on top against the Belgians. In the other Group match, USA defeated Belgium 3-1 to go top of the group on Goals scored.

 

They tournament consist of three groups of four teams each. The top of each group will qualify for the Semi Final, with the best second placed team also qualifying for the next round.

Cameroon will play again on Saturday against USA at 9AM.

Cameroon finished runners up in the 13th edition of the tournament last year after loosing to France 2-1 in the Finals.
