Beşiktaş excludes 5 players, including Indomitable Lions duo Vincent Aboubakar and Jean Onana, from first ream activities due to poor performances

Beşiktas have excluded 5 players from their squad due to ‘poor performance’ and ‘incompatibility’

The 5 players are: Eric Bailly, Vincent Aboubakar, Valentin Rosier, Rachid Ghezzal & Jean Onana.

This comes after thier 3-1 defeat to Fernabace.

Besiktas were recently eliminated in the Europa Conference League Group stages after managing just a point in five matches.

They have also failed to win each of their last 3 matches and currently sit 5th in the Turkish Super League, out of European places.

Club statement

“Information from our club 5 players from our Football A Team have been excluded from the squad. Our Football Teams General Coordinator Samet Aybaba; He announced that Vincent Aboubakar, Valentine Rosier, Eric Bailly, Rachid Ghezzal and Jean Onana were excluded from the squad due to poor performance and incompatibility within the team. Our work on the new staff structure continues. We respectfully present it to the public. Besiktas JK”

The players have also been put on transfer list and will likely make a departure from the club in January.
