Meet Makon, a special musician from Cameroon who is not only successful in music but also in business and helping others.

Some musicians are content with making music and enjoying the fame it brings. However, many popular musicians have interests in things other than music, such as starting their own businesses and giving to those in need.

Makon, whose real name is Yong Mark Ndi, is a talented musician who has also made a name for himself as an entrepreneur and someone who helps others.

Starting off as an Afro artist and philanthropist, Makon has grown his career by creating his own businesses, including One Touch Entertainment and Makon Care Foundation, through hard work and creativity.

At 32 years old, Makon, originally from Fondung in the North West Region, went to school at CBC Mutengene for his primary education before moving on to Progressive High College. Later, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Buea before focusing on his music career.

Apart from music, Makon is known for his business acumen and charitable endeavors. He has followed in the footsteps of his mother, also an entrepreneur in Cameroon, by establishing the Makon Care Foundation, which helps mothers and children with medical care and school fees.

Having collaborated with other notable musicians like Mimie, Rich Khasino, and Kocee, Makon is now poised to reach an international audience through partnerships with global music distribution networks. He describes his music as unique and diverse, blending different styles without limitations.

Makon started recording and releasing songs in 2014, showcasing his versatility as an artist. His debut project, ‘The VISIONER Ep‘ is in progress, and his fans worldwide can listen to his music on various streaming platforms. Some of his popular songs include ‘Hozana,’ ‘Kossa ft Rich Khasino,’ and ‘Pepper.’
