– 53 burned to death in Dschang (subplot: father and mother lost their lives in the accident on their way to Dschang to see daughter who committed suicide by consuming rat poison)

– Female student stabbed to death on University of Yaounde 1 campus (near Faculty of Medicine) by armed bandit who made away with her phone.

– Road accident on National Highway Number One in Bertoua claims two lives.

– Father allegedly poisoned to death by son in Douala. The accused reportedly poisoned a plate of banana porridge which the deceased was served.

– Two 6-year-old children (twin) crushed to death by heavy duty truck transporting wood in Dimako. The truck is said to have steered away from hitting a moving bike before sweeping the kids on its way.

This is too much in such small space of time for a country this size.
