Cameroon suffer a drop in the latest FIFA World rankings
FIFA updated the world rankings few hours ago and Cameroon has dropped four places down in the latest FIFA Coca-cola men’s World ranking.
The indomitable lions have have moved from the being the 54th ranked nation to 58th. This comes after their 2:1 defeat to Ivory coast during the recent international break though they also managed a 2:0 victory against lower ranked Malawi.
Ivory coast on the other hand have gone the other way up the rankings moving from 57th to 54th position.
Cameroon currently have 1404 which 6 points less than their total in the August rankings.
Senegal are the highest ranked African country sitting at 20th position in the world rankings, Tunisia follow closely at the 25th position, Algeria maintain their 30th position while Morocco move a place down to the 33th position.
Nigeria(34th), Egypt(48th), Ghana(53rd), Ivory coast (54th), Cameroon (58th) and Mali(61st) complete the top ten in CAF Confederation Nations.
Globally, Belgium maintain their position at the top of the world rankings, Brazil follow closely at second position while England swap places with France who now sit fourth. Italy and Argentina maintain their 5th and 6th positions while Portugal take up the 7th position by swapping places with Spain. Mexico takes the 9th position while Denmark replaces USA at the 10th position.
