Case Study of The Shirlma Show.
The Shirlma Show is an entrepreneurship business pitch whose vision is to make Africa better for Africans needs support. While the entrepreneurial minds dream and put in the necessary effort, investors will help them turn these dreams into reality by investing in their innovative and feasible business ideas. They have three sessions every year ( February, June, and October ) where ten (10) entrepreneurs come and pitch their businesses for free and one will win the sum of 1,000,000 frs approximately ($2,000).
They launched their February 2022 session and reached out to Kimbi blog with two objectives.
- Get more entrepreneurs to compete for the show
- Get more people to attend the show ( live audience).
We designed a promotion package that targets Entrepreneurs, workers, and solopreneurs.
Here are the promotional packages we used.

For the social media platforms, We already know Cameroonians like Kongossa 😂, so we linked information about the business show beneath news posts. We also will put up at least one educative post about business every day and link it to the show.
– Home page Ads
With the tens of thousands of visitors that we have leaving from Facebook and others coming from Google search, we have a good number of people on our home page looking for content that suit them to read.
We have their banner placed on the top homepage page for a month and it had massive impressions and clicks. For those who deal with Cameroonians, they know how tough it is for someone to click on a link.

We know some people will visit our website through post links and might not go to the homepage we had another banner above ever post on our platform for a month. That is everyone who read a post on our platform saw the banner.
The campaign was in two phases 1) Getting businesses registered 2) Getting people to attend the event but below is the sum of the two and they also gained more brand awareness
