Over time now, the Camerooon entertainment industry has been recycling the same promotional Strategies and we have reached a point where it’s no more working.

People are tired of following the same trend everyday “drop a song, go on media tour, do giveaway and sponsor a dance challenge” etc… Since Magasco dropped his latest track titled “Give“, it has been trending on all platforms and many people still don’t understand how he has been able to hold down a trend for closed to a month now you might be wondering What is working for him ? How did he do this ? Forgetting to know he launched a sponsored challenge last year for his song “Calypso” ft Mihney and it wasn’t successful.

 

Let’s go to where it all started. After releasing “Give“, Magasco went on a small media tour both TV and radio to announce th song is out and after that he made the instrumentals of the song available for free download. He kept on hyping the Challenge and artists’ started sending their videos and he posted them this act alone motivated several artists’ to join the Challenge including the likes of Mic Monsta, Cleo Grae, Fuchor, S B A etc.

“Give” by Magasco now stands as the most remixed Cameroonian song with over 30 covers on  and still counting we think the quality of the song matters a lot and This has kept the song trending overtime without necessarily spending money to sponsor any challenge and we hope other artists learn from this.
