Gael Ondoua denied entry into UK for having Russian Citizenship(see why)
Cameroonian international and Servette FC midfielder Gael Ondoua has been denied entry into UK for having Russian nationality.
Gael Ondoua’s Servette FC take on Glasgow Rangers today August 9th, in the Final preliminary round of the 2023 UEFA Champions League qualifications.
However, Gael Ondoa who also doubles as a Russian citizen has been denied entry into Uk by the British authorities, according to an official statement released by his club.

Ondoua grew up in Russia, where his father was a diplomat. He is fluent in Russian and holds Russian citizenship.
Developed in the ranks of Russian club Locomotiv Moscow, Gael made a switch to CSKA Moscow in 2014 where he finally made his professional debut.
The 27 Years Old also played for Russian Club Anzhi Makhachkala in the 2018/2019 season.
Ever since the Ukraine/Russian war started, the UK and several other European countries have placed restrictions on certain individuals with Russian Nationality.
