Michael Ngadeu Ngadjui has revealed the circumstances behind his exclusion in Cameroon’s 2022 FIFA World Cup squad.

Speaking in an interview with Canal 2 International, the Beijing Guoan F.C defender revealed his name was removed two minutes before the final list was read out to the public.

“I got a message on my phone two minutes before they started reading the list. I received a message telling me that your name has just been removed […]”

He also squashed rumours of an alteration between him and Zambo Anguissa.

“There has never been a fight between Zambo and me and I have never fought with anyone on the national team . Continued the 32 Year-old.

Michael Ngadeu Ngadjui missing out on Cameroon’s 2022 FIFA World Cup squad came as a shock to many Cameroonians as he has featured as one of the starting Centre-backs for Cameroon throughout the qualifiers and the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon
