President Paul Biya Celebrates 40years in power.
Yesterday, November 6th, 2022, was commemorated as the 40th anniversary of President Paul Biya in power.
The incumbent leader has been in power since 1982, taking over from the late President Ahmadou Ahidjo. While many believe he has achieved a lot, others dispute citing economic crisis, civil unrest and a string of unfulfilled promises.
Yet the President of Cameroon Paul Biya celebrated his 40 years at the helm of Cameroon. Official pics show him in the company of the first lady Chantal Biya and close family members.
Members of his ruling CPDM party joined the celebration across the national territory as well.
