PSG women’s football player Aminato Diallo arrested over attack on her own teammate

PSG has confirmed French international midfielder Aminata Diallo, 26, is now in police Custody over an attack on fellow team mate earlier this month.

According to a report by French Newspaper L’Equipe, PSG women’s player kheira Hamraoui was attacked on November 4 by two masked men who hit her legs with an Iron bar.

The player was taken to the hospital and given stitches and missed PSG’s 4:0 win over Real Madrid on Tuesday. Aminato Diallo featured in the match.
Aminato Diallo and Hamraoui are team mates both at PSG and French National team and they play thesame position.
Hamraoui returned from loan this season after spending five seasons at FC Barcelona.
PSG released a statement condemning the act
“Since Thursday evening, the club has taken necessary measures to guarantee health, well being and safety of it’s entire women’s team” the statement read.
“PSG is working with the Versailles police to shed light on the facts.
“The club is paying close attention to the progress of the proceedings and will study what action to take”.
