It rained goals in the semi finals of the Cameroon cup as PWD and Astres of Douala both secured a place in the cup of Cameroon finals. PWD of Bamenda will take on Astres of Douala in the finals.

Who would have predicted that this two teams will make it to this stage of the competition. PWD of Bamenda were crowned Elite one champions last year after a the league was halted due to Covid 19. They have been having a decent season this year they currently sit 5th on the elite one A rankings.

Astres of Douala on the other side are having a difficult season that has left them battling for safety in the bottom of the table

PWD of Bamenda defeated Union de Douala in the semi finals by 3 goals to Nil.
Billy samin opened the scoring just close to the half hour mark with a power ful header after a cross from Boung Joel.
Francois Enyegue doubled the lead late in the first half with a beautifully stroke curled shot that left the spectators astonished.
Tchaoua leger tripled the lead for the Abakwa boys just few minutes into the second half

Elsewhere, Astres of Douala pulled off a shock three goals to two victory over Coton sport of Garoua in an exciting encounte.
