**Galaxee J wan** who works at Vosaworld radio.

The official launching of Vosaworld radio started around 5:30 PM with an opening speech by Mr John Etah well known as Galaxy J Wan The event had Board members of Vosaworld radio, Internally displaced person’s, media personalities and invitees. After the opening speech, we had a presentation from Mr Micheal.

Mr Micheal who is the co-founder of Vosaworld radio.

Mr Michael who is the co-founder of Vosaworld radio in his words “Vosaworld was inspired by our love for Technology and Telecommunication” He went further mentioned some of the board members who are out of Cameroon and elaborated more about the radio and it’s programs and said they believe in sharing. After him, Mr Ewane who is an ex Vocast made a speech.

We asked some IDPs questions about how life is going on in Douala and how it feels like schooling in Douala and here was their responses.

IDP number 1 ( with red gown android a baby)

– She complaint about how tough it is to get water and Francophones discriminating in school and in the quarter calling them “les bamenda”.

– Her Father died because of the strike action

IDP number 2. ( With yellow T-shirt)

– She started working with a woman as a house help and the treatment they gave her wasn’t the best.

– She lost her father due to the crisis because he was a patient and couldn’t withstand the gun shots.

-How does she feel about this gesture from Vosaworld radio ?

– She thanked them for the gifts and said she was very surprised when she heard about it.

– She doesn’t school but sells acra beans to survive and her greatest wish was to go back to school.

– IDP number 3 ( with red gown without a baby )

She is a student and came to Douala in 2019 and came with her mother, She received the gifts as a surprise as well and was very happy.

After the words with the IDPs, The shared gifts of about 450,000 frs and went home with smiles on their faces.

PHASE 2 OF THE EVENT.

The invitees and board members gathered inside the hotel, The co-founder of the Radio Me Micheal made another speech and thanked everyone who showed up at the event. He introduced other members and gave shout-outs to some people.

After that they shared some gifts and they went ok to the dinner meal which was prepared and that is how the event ended.
