The year 2020 was a year of success to Rinyu and we all will agree on that. Do you think her song will last for a decade ? Will she span long like Charlotte Dipanda, lady ponce ….?
Ngah Confi well known by her stage name Rinyu took Cameroon music industry by the storm last year 2020.
Her rapid music career growth stems from her unique kind of sound and her writing pattern which she blends with English, pidgin and a little bit of her dialect delivered with International standard vocals.
We gathered that Rinyu was discovered at a concert in Yaoundé after performing and that got her signed to Akumba Music.
After releasing a few tracks in 2019, Rinyu took the bull by it’s horns and at that time she wasn’t really getting the attention she deserved. He rose to fame and what made her go International was when she released the cover for “Duduke” by superstar Nigerian vocalist Simi.
Rinyu’s music career is waxing strong by the day and Cameroonians seems to craving for more music projects from her.
Putting out music under Akumba Music, it is safe to say Rinyu had signed to a record label that believed so much in her sound that the label would stop at nothing to break the artiste to the mainstream.
The tallent is there, her music is appealing to the ears, all Rinyu needed was a huge exposure and her record label really did justice to that by jumping on series of promotional opportunities across all major music platforms.
The journey not Rinyu was actually an amazing one which took many by suprise.
Like every other break out acts, Rinyu needed to prove that she is really worth attention and the hype she kept being consistent throughout the year
After dropping a few singles like “chaka love, marry me” she came through with an amazing Collaboration with hit maker KO-C titled “feeling you” which many criticized Ko-c’s delivery but it still turned a success.
Rinyu had the chance to perform with so many renowned Cameroonian artists on the same stage like Salatiel, Stanley Enow, Daphne and may more.
She backed some awards same year showing her work is been seen.
