Kantanka vehicle is made by Kantanka Automobile, Ghana-based automotive industry founded in 1994 by Kwadwo Safo Kantanka. Kantanka Automobile produces four-wheelers, pick-ups and more.
Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing is a Nigerian automobile and bus manufacturing company founded in 2007 by Innocent Chukwuma. It is nicknamed “pride of African road”.
Mobius Motors Kenya is an automobile OEM start-up existing since 2010 with the purpose of manufacturing vehicles for the African market. It uses the slogan “Designed for Africa. Built in Africa” and it released its first batch of low-cost vehicles in 2017.
Kiira Motors Cooperation is a state enterprise in Uganda established to champion the development of automotive value chain for job and wealth creation in the country. In 2011, it developed its first electric vehicle.
Wallyscar is a Tunisian car manufacturer founded in 2006. It produces 600 units per year and sells nationally and internationally, in Panama, France Spain and Morocco. It also partners with French company, Peugeot, using PSA 1.4-litre petrol engine in their vehicles.
South Africa’s Birkin Cars The company which opened in 1982 sells in various parts of the world including Japan and the US. They’re known for classic reproductions like SS3 Street Series and CS3 Clubman Series.
Morocco’s Laraki Laraki was founded by Moroccan businessman Mohamed Laraki in 1999. It started by manufacturing yachts before moving to luxurious cars. In 2002, it produced the first car, Laraki Fulgura.
