Wax Dey Signs Artist 5 Years After They Meet.

 

Wax Dey signs a young artist Francis Slo also known as Mr Unique to his Calabash Music 237 label. Some five years ago, the young guy charmed him with a song he performed called “Plans For You” which he never forgot. Fast-forward to date, he signs the young guy. He took to his official Facebook page to write:

“I met Francis Slo 5 years ago when I went to launch my album in Bamenda, in the heart of the crisis. He performed a song “plans for you”. I made a mental note that this guy has an extraordinary talent but also has a star that can shine anywhere in the world. Our people don’t get it yet – but I did. It’s just a matter of time before God did! Welcome to Calabash Music…”

Big things coming for the young guy under Calabash Music as his life has changed. He already featured in the successful multi-artist remix of “Give” by Magasco and dropped a couple of covers and mash ups. He will be rubbing shoulders with Ewube and a host of others.
