Case Study of Maahlox and Racine collaboration from May 2022 till present (February 2023).

In May 2022, Brewery Company “Le Brasseries du Cameroon” announced Zone 2 Rap artiste Maahlox as a brand ambassador for their most recent beer Racine Booster .

As the woman was made from Man, Racine is made from Booster which is another beer from Le Brasseries du Cameroon with Whiskey Black Flavor.

From May till now, Maahlox has been very influential on the brand, takitsit’s a Facebook page from less than 1k followers to 7.9k in 8 months as the only Brand Ambassador of the Brand.

With Maahlox as a Brand Ambassador, Racine has done three successful city tours with supporting acts like Krys M and Ngangono du sud. Maahlox  has grown and recently bought a new MERCEDES BENZ GLE (see photos).

Maalhox was born and raised in Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon, in the Obili district. He is the second in a family of ten children. He did his secondary education at Mendong High School where he won two consecutive years the prize for the best poem of the year.

He went through several hardships during his adolescence (separation from his parents, loss of his little sister Leticia, financial difficulties, dropping out of school, ” there were not many people who had made it through studying” (and where) “alone those who had broken into drugs or banditry were role models”.

His rapper’s name, Maahlox, comes from a homonym with the name of the medicine his little sister was taking to ease the pain of cancer that took her away.
