Kingsley Okonkwo, better known as Kcee, a Nigerian singer, has revealed that his gospel album with Okwesili Eze Group, “Cultural Praise,” brought in more money than his entire secular music career.

In a recent interview with Cool FM, Lagos, the “Limpopo” singer discussed this.

According to him, the gospel album has been streamed the most times.

According to Kcee, “When I did the gospel, a lot of people thought it was over because he was actually going close to his village.” Presently he’s taking the music to the town.’

“That was horrible. When I heard that I was like, okay, let’s see how that works. And it didn’t happen. I made more money from it ; more than any ever before in my whole career.”

He said he knew the project was going to be a commercial success even before it was released.
