Mr Eazi authoritatively reported that his hotly anticipated debut LP will at long last be making landfall Oct. 27, 2023. To get fans ready, REVOLT is eager to debut a new visual for the collection’s lead single, “Slash Time, No Companion,” which is named after a Ghanaian saying that freely signifies, “You can’t inconvenience me.” The track denotes the craftsman’s re-visitation of Banku, an extraordinary style that Eazi spearheaded and brought to the front of African music by means of the 2017 exemplary Life is Eazi, Vol. 1 – Accra To Lagos and Vol. 2 – Lagos To London.

The accompanying clip for “Chop Time, No Friend” comes courtesy of Allison Swank Owen and brings viewers to Dakar, Senegal. While there, Eazi catches vibes with a beautiful woman at a beachside residence, shows off his eclectic fashion sense in a clothing shop, and dines with loved ones in a lavish open-air space. At one point, he stands in front of the breathtaking African Renaissance Monument, located in Deux Mamelles, Dakar.

Back in May, Mr Eazi — as part of his ChopLife SoundSystem outfit with DJ Edu — liberated Chop Life, Vol. 1: Mzansi Chronicles. That project, an ode to the wildly popular Amapiano subgenre, consisted of 14 songs with a wealth of contributions from Ami Faku, 2woshort, Moonchild Sanelly, Focalistic, Nkosazana Daughter, Mellow & Sleazy, DJ Tarico, and more.

The Afropop star and collaborators including the producer of Rema’s “Calm Down” will be blessing y’all speakers with a new project on the 27th of October. Stay Tuned!
