In an interview with the Zero Conditions podcast, Joeboy mentioned that he has four plants in his room that he talks to.
The 26-year-old also discussed the value of spirituality, stating that one must be safeguarded either by regular prayer to God or by using conventional methods.
The aspiring afrobeats musician also explained why he had tattoos of trees on his body, claiming that he is a fan of the outdoors.
“You need a spiritual foundation,” Joeboy added. It is quite crucial. You must pray if you don’t play jazz. I enjoy being in nature. I enjoy being around plants. My room has about four plants.
“I named them Anthony, Themal, Raphael and Vanessa. And I actually talk to them. I just tell them how I feel. I think it’s better to talk to plants sometimes than to talk to human beings.”
