Algeria U23 wins Cameroon 3 – 0 in turkey

Algeria U23 men national football team has defeated Cameroon by forfeit after the junior Lions failed to show up in turkey on August 8th, 2022.

In the Islamic solidarity games which are played in turkey, Cameroon 🇨🇲 U23 men team was to face Algeria 🇩🇿 on August 8th, 2022 at 13:30 PM and they junior Lions failed to show up.

Why did Cameroon fail to show up in the Cameroon vs Algeria U23 match ?

According to popular sports Journalist Ade Divine, The Cameroon delegation has not been able to fly to Turkey. At the moment, no official reasons have been given. Worth noting that Cameroon’s participation in the competition is the responsibility of the National Olympic and Sporting Committee of Cameroon, not FECAFOOT.

Online tabloid ‘Allez les Lions‘ claims the difficulty is at the level of participation cost, amongst others. This was the primary cause of the delay and The U23 Indomitable Lions team didn’t succeed to travel.

 

The organizing committee has there fore crowned Algeria as the winner of the match, giving them a score of 🇩🇿3-0🇨🇲.
