Besiktas complete the signing of Vincent Aboubakar according to Fabrizio Romano

Vincent Aboubakar is set for a return to Turkey as he completes his move to Besiktas according to Fabrizio Romano.

Vincent Aboubakar replaces Weghorst who completed his move from Besiktas to Manchester United earlier this month.

Al Nassr ready to offload Aboubakar inorder to register Ronaldo — Aboubakar arrived Al Nassr in 2021 from Besiktas and has since become one of their top scorers and best players.

The 30 year old joins the club on a two and half year deal that will see him earn €2.5million a year.

Aboubakar looked almost certain to joining Manchester United last week as a replacement for Ronaldo per dailsportsmail but the deal fell off and Manchester United signed Weghorst instead.

This will be his third spell at the club. He first joined the Turkish side in 2016 on loan for one season from Porto and scored 12 goals in 33 appearances for them. His second spell at the club was in 2020 when he signed for them from Porto and went on to score 15 goals in 26 appearances before moving to Al Nassr in 2021.
