Cameroon’s AFCON U-17 Group rival South Sudan disqualified by CAF for age fraud

Cameroon’s 2023 Under-17 AFCON group has been reduced to three teams after South Sudan under 17 national team was disqualified by CAF for age fraud.
In a press release by the CAF, as many as Five (5) players in the squad failed the compulsory MRI test even though CAF made all rules clear before the start of the competition.
South Sudan will now return home and won’t play any part in this competition.
They were in Group C with Burkina Faso, Cameroon and Mali.
