The highest active players with most goals for the Cameroon national team see players like Njie Clinton, Vincent Aboubakar, Choupo Moting make the list.

The list constitute of players who have scored the most goals for the Cameroon national team and are still in active duty.

Below is a list of the top 10 active players with most goals for the Cameroon national team.

10. Nicolas Nkoulou
Caps: 75
Goals: 2
Position: Defender
Age: 32

Having represented Cameroon at the Under-23 level, Nkoulou was called up by the senior national team for the first time on 4 November 2008. He make his international debut in the senior squad on 19 November 2008 in a friendly against South Africa, which they lost 3–2. On 26th March 2016, Nkoulou scored his first international goal, in a 2–2 draw against South Africa, the team he made his national debut eight years ago.

His second international goal was a very crucial one, an equalizing goal against Egypt in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Final which they went on to win 2-1, thanks to a Vincent Aboubakar winner. Nkoulou has represented Cameroon at the 2010, 2015 and 2017 AFCON tournaments. He has represented Cameroon in three FIFA World Cups in 2010, 2014 and 2022. He has 75 caps for Cameroon with two international goals to his name.

9. Michael Ngadeu Ngadjui

Ngadeu made his senior debut for the Cameroon national team in a 2–0 win over The Gambia in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualification. He went on to play every minute of Cameroon’s victorious 2017 Africa Cup of Nations campaign, scoring two goals. Ngadeu scored his first international goal in a 2-1 against Guinea Bissau in the 2017 AFCON group stage.

He has represented Cameroon at the 2017, 2019 and 2021 AFCON tournaments. He was part of Cameroon’s squad for the 2017 FIFA Confederations cup. However he suprisinly missed out on Cameroon’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World cup and hasn’t made the squad since then.

Ngadeu has fours with the Cameroon national in 44 appearances.

8. Nicholas Moumi Ngamaleu

Age: 28

Ngamaleu made his debut with the Cameroon national team against Guinea on 28 March 2017. He was included in the Cameroon squad for the 2017 Confederations Cup in Russia. He scored his first international goal in a friendly against Rwanda on January 6th, 2016 which ended 1-1.

Ngamaleu represented Cameroon at two AFCONs thst is 2019 and 2021.
He finished third with Cameroon at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, where he supplied two assists and converted one penalty in the penalty shoot-out win against Burkina Faso in the third-place playoff.

He has 44 Caps for Cameroon with four goals to his name.

7. Stephane Bahoken

Born in France, Bahoken is eligible to play for Cameroon national team through his father. He was a youth international footballer for the France U20 side before switching allegiance to Cameroon.

Bahoken made his international debut for Cameroon in a 3–1 friendly win over Kuwait on 25 March 2018. He scored his first Cameroon national team goal on the 8th of September 2018 in a 2019 AFCON qualifiers one all draw with Comoros. Bahoken has represented Cameroon are the 2019 and 2021 African Cup of Nations. He was part of Cameroon’s squad that finished third in the 2021 AFCON, scoring the first goal in a come back penalty shoot out win against Bukina Faso.

He has 22 caps for the Cameroon national team with 4 goals.

6. Zambo Anguisa

Zambo Anguissa made his international debut for the Cameroon national team in a friendly 1–0 win over Tunisia on 24 March 2017. He scored his first national team goal on June 22nd, 2017 in a FIFA Confederations cup group stage match against Australia. Since then he has gone on to score five goals for the Indomitable Lions in 46 appearances.

Zambo Anguisa has represented Cameroon at three AFCON tournaments that is 2017, 2019 and 2021. He has also represented Cameroon at the 2022 FIFA World cup and the 2017 FIFA Confederations cup.

He made his international debut in 2016. He scored his first international goal in the 2017 AFCON Quarter finals in a 2-0 win over Ghana. Christian Bassogog had a stellar Africa Cup of Nations 2017, scoring once en route to their victory, and was named as the Best Player at AFCON 2017.
Bassogog has represented Cameroon at the 2017, 2019 and 2021 AFCON tournaments. He has also represented Cameroon at the 2017 FIFA Confederations cup and was part of the squad for 2022 FIFA World cup.

He has 43 caps with Cameroon, scoring 6 goals.

4. Njie Clinton

Njie Clinton scored 44 minutes into his Cameroon debut against the Democratic Republic of Congo on 6 September 2014, and followed this up four days later by scoring twice in a 4–1 victory over Ivory Coast at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaoundé, Cameroon. He has represented the nation at the Africa Cup of Nations in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2021, winning the 2017 tournament and finishing third in the 2021 tournament. He also represented Cameroon at the 2017 FIFA Confederations cup. Clinton Njie missed out on Cameroon’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and hasn’t been called up to the national team since the 2021 AFCON tournament. He has 42 caps for Cameroon and has scored 10 goals.

3. Karl Toko Ekambi

Age: 30

Born in France, Toko Ekambi made his debut for Cameroon on 6 June 2015 in a 3–2 friendly win over Burkina Faso in Colombes, France, as a 66th-minute substitute for Justin Mengolo.

He scored his first goal for Cameroon on the 3rd of September the following year in a 2–0 home win over the Gambia in 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualification.
He represented the nation at the Africa Cup of Nations in 2017, 2019 and 2021, winning the 2017 tournament. Ekambi also played at the 2022 FIFA World Cup and 2017 FIFA Confederations cup.
He has 54 caps for Cameroon with 12 goals to his name.

2. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting

Position: Centre Forward
Age: 33

Born and raised in Germany, Choupo represented Germany at Youth level but decided to switch his allegiance to Cameroon at Senior level. On 1st May 2010, Choupo-Moting earned his first call-up for the Cameroon national team, and represented Cameroon at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. He scored his first Cameroon goal on 5th June 2010 in a friendly against Serbia.
He has represented
Cameroon at the 2015, 2019 and 2021 AFCON tournaments, finishing third in 2021. He has also represented Cameroon at the 2010, 2014, and 2022 FIFA World Cups.

Choupo Moting has 72 caps for Cameroon with 20 goals making him their second active top goalscorer.

Age: 31

Aboubakar made his international debut for Cameroon in May 2010, aged 18. He was named in Cameroon’s 23-man squad for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Aboubakar was the only player in the squad who was based in Cameroon.

He made his debut in the friendly match on 29 May 2010 against Slovakia. On 11 August 2010, Aboubakar scored his first goal for the national team, in a friendly against Poland.

Vincent Aboubakar has participated in three AFCONs, in 2015, 2017 and 2021. He also represented the nation at three FIFA World Cup tournaments and one FIFA Confederations cup.

He has 94 caps for Cameroon and has scored 35 goals.
