Vincent Aboubakar has resumed training with Al Nassr fc after his memorable performance in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The 30 year old Indomitable Lions striker made headlines in the FIFA World Cup not only once but twice. The first one was when he came on as a substitute vs Serbia, assisted Choupo Moting and scored the equalizer to complete a 3-3 come back draw for Cameroon. Aboubakar went on to make headlines again against Brazil when he scored the lone goal of the match in the 89th minute to give Cameroon a historic victory over Brazil.
Though Cameroon suffered a group stage elimination after finishing third with four points, Aboubakar exited the tournament as a legend.
The striker resumes training with Al Nassr where he scored two goals in eighth appearances before heading for the World Cup.
