Karl Toko Ekambi believes there is no Coach who can stop him from representing Cameroon in AFCON 2021 next month.

The AFCON cup of nations which is scheduled for next month has been surrounded by a lot of uncertainties.

There were reports last week that the competition might be postponed though CAF were quick to label the reports “Fake news”.
The reports came after ECA sent a letter to FIFA promising not to release their players if a proper health protocol is not presented to them ahead of the competition.

Indomitable Lions forward Karl Toko Ekambi took to his Facebook page to commit his loyalty to the Indomitable Lions.

“There is no coach in this world who will prevent me from playing the AFCON . It’s disgusting that some people try to prevent African players from participating in the AFCON,” he said

The latter also believes that there is a kind of contempt of European clubs for Africans. “It becomes unbearable the condescension shown by the ECA and the Premier League towards African football! African players, leaders and the media have to ensure that this contempt stops for good,” continued Karl Toko Ekambi.
